Luke Wood – The Man From Nazareth (I Would Give Anything) Chord Chart

Hey folks, here is a chord chart and lyrics for Luke Wood’s song – I’m not sure of a title for it, but it is the one that starts off “I belong to the man from Nazareth…” and has the “I would give anything, nothing withhold” chorus.

I THINK the song is originally in Eb (couldn’t find a video of Luke Wood singing it…), but is easier to play with Capo 3 as though you were playing it in C.  There is a video of Misty singing this song in E up on YouTube, capo 2 but the same C chord shapes I have transcribed this in. I apologize, because of the formatting on this blog, the chords will not line up perfectly. It’s the same 3 chords for the entire song, but the rhythm changes. I have included a video at the end that helps explain the rhythms for chord changes 🙂 Hope this helps!

Capo 3

Dm   C   G  (in E: F#m E B) (in Eb: Fm Eb Bb)

I belong to the man from Nazareth

He’s got wounds in His feet and scars in His hands

And He loves me with an everlasting love

I belong to the King of Israel

He conquered death and holds the keys of hell

and He loves me with an everlasting love

And I would give anything, nothing withhold
And I will search for you like silver and gold
That I might taste the glory of knowing You, Lord

With all my heart
All my soul
All my strength
